World Oceans Day has been celebrated on June 8th every year since 2002. And while Covid-19 and social distancing changed how we recognize our blue planet, the need for action is perhaps more important than ever.
Cape Island’s Clifton Beach Collection reaffirms its commitment to keeping our Cape Coastlines clean in association with Clean-C.
Clean-C was founded by a South African Marine Biologist and today consists of a group of enthusiastic people passionate about South Africa and its people. Knowing that there is a great need to create opportunities for people to develop and grow, Clean-C organizes local community and beach clean-ups around the Western Cape on the first Saturday of every month and creates jobs through their recycling initiative.
Cape Island is able to support Clean-C’s important work by donating a percentage of sales from their Clifton Beach Classic Candle and Room Spray.
