To help you out, we’ve got some sumptuous cocktail serves that are sure to ‘wow’ your guests this festive season, including some perfect pitchers that mean you can spend more time mingling and less time pouring! OPIHR’S HOME FOR CHRISTMAS (Lower alcohol content)

Ingredients:

20ml Opihr

50ml Ginger Ale

50ml Cranberry juice

Method:

Simply mix all of the ingredients in a high-ball over ice, or multiply the ingredients by four and mix in a large jug with ice if you’re making this refreshing Christmas cocktail for a party.

GREENALL’S WILD BERRY FROSTED FOREST FRUITS

Ingredients:

50ml Greenall’s Wild Berry Gin

25ml fresh lemon juice

10ml Cointreau

15ml simple syrup

1 Thin slice ginger

150ml ginger beer

Method:

Gently press the ginger slice into the bottom of a large highball, hurricane or sling glass, pour over the other ingredients and stir. Garnish with ginger slices lemon, mint, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and cucumber.

This drink works really well as a sharing cocktail, simply multiply the ingredients by four, throw all the garnish and ginger into a large jug and squash. Add the liquid ingredients and ice and stir well. Serve over more ice in tumblers.

BLOOM GIN’S FRENCH 75

Introducing our BLOOM Gin Master Distiller’s favourite cocktail – the French 75:

Ingredients:
25ml BLOOM London Dry Gin
25ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
10ml Sugar syrup (1 water : 2 sugar)
Top with good quality Prosecco or Champagne

Method:
Shake the first three ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled champagne flute. Top with bubbles and garnish with pretty edible flowers. Enjoy!

THOMAS DAKIN’S RED SNAPPER (FOR MORNING AFTER CHRISTMAS)

Gin based Bloody Mary’s – or Red Snapper’s as they are officially called – must be up there on the list of ultimate Brunch cocktails. Using Thomas Dakin Gin takes this cocktail to the next level as their signature botanicals are perfect fits – horseradish, orange peeland coriander seed to balance out a fresh juniper.

Ingredients:

50 ml Thomas Dakin Gin

120ml Tomato Juice

15ml lemon juice

1 tsp of Worcester sauce (or to taste)

1/2 tsp of Tabasco (or to taste)

1/2 tsp horseradish sauce

8 coriander Leaves

Splash of Orange Juice

Method:

Stir all ingredients over ice and serve in a chilled half pint pot glass with a splash of fresh orange juice on top. Garnish with a sprig of coriander, stir in a stick of celery and grind some black pepper on top.
