The popular Spicebomb collection by Viktor & Rolf has been enriched with a new creation that will delight all fans of this men’s line. It is a blazing hot new fragrance inspired by the intensity of a red habanero chili pepper with a sharp, piercing burn. Around this fiery pepper, red berry oil and tobacco, create a halo of blazing warmth and magnetism.
Spicebomb Infrared raises the temperature and pulse with bright spices and the heat of resins. The fragrance is inspired by infrared technology that detects body heat.
THE FRAGRANCE

Conceived by perfumers Carlos Benaim, Nicolas Beaulieu, and Jean-Christophe Hérault, Spicebomb Infrared reinterprets the original Spicebomb, turning up the heat.
“We were inspired by the red Habanero pepper with its sharp, intense burn,” say the perfumers. “Spicebomb Infrared is an incandescent and torrid spicy fragrance. At the same time, it has been developed to respect the structure of Spicebomb Original.”
An oriental ambery, Spicebomb Infrared has a burning heart of Habanero Red Pimento Accord, reinforced by the slightly sweet warmth of Cinnamon Leaf Essence. At the top, Red Berries Essence unveils fusing, sparkling notes textured by the warm and leathery inflexion of Saffron Accord. With Benzoin Resinoid, Tobacco Accord, the base is sensual, Cedarwood Oil bringing depth and a slightly sweet oriental ground to the fragrance’s burning signature.
Among the hottest spices globally — 100,000 to 350,000 on the renowned Scoville scale of chili peppers — red Habanero chili pepper accord has never been used in men’s fragrance. The Habanero’s explosive character makes temperatures rise to the extreme.
The fragrance’s star accord comes with a halo of blazing light, courtesy of a selection of vibrant ingredients in different shades of vibrant red, a natural fruit essence rarely used in juicier perfume more intense and full-bodied than traditional, sweet oranges.
An intense mélange of rich spices (cinnamon leaf oil, pimento berry oil, red berries oil, and Safran accord) bolster the Habanero note’s unique heat.
The perfumers used the Living™ Technology on ingredients where it’s otherwise impossible to extract their natural essence. The technique allowed them to leapfrog the boundaries of perfume by recreating a living, natural odour, allowing them to integrate ingredients that have never been used before, such as the piercing aroma of Habanero pepper and the juiciest of red apples.

Like all other fragrances in the Spicebomb range, Spicebomb Infrared comes in its by-now iconic grenade-shaped bottle. This time, the bottom part of the bottle is glowing red, evoking smouldering embers.
The red bottle contrasts with Spicebomb Night Vision’s green bottle, Spicebomb Extreme’s golden visuals, and the original Spicebomb, which comes in a clear glass bottle. The colours refer to each of the scents’ particular interpretation of spice. Spicebomb Infrared celebrates red-hot spices. Spicebomb Night Vision is all about fresh, green spices. Spicebomb, with its contrasting use of hot and fresh spices, sits perfectly in between. Sensual, warm Spicebomb Extreme is positioned between original Spicebomb and extra-hot Spicebomb Infrared.
